Adoptee Rights Promo – v2
Check out this video.
Adoptee Rights Demonstration – Join us July 21, 2009 at the Annual Summit for the National Conference of State Legislators for the Philadelphia Adoptee Rights Protest. adopteerightsphilly.blogspot.com The National Conference of State Legislatures is the largest group of its kind, the national organization of STATE LAWMAKERS, the people who DECIDE whether you may access your original birth certificates OR NOT. We propose a gathering of adoptees and all supporters of the rights of adoptees to unrestricted access to their own records of birth, representing all fifty states, a one-day rally that will be an opportunity for adoptees to demonstrate their commitment to adoptee rights and to meet their state delegation. http Your Rights – Your Protest // created at animoto.com

I was there, it was great!
Wish I could be there but I live in Indy. I have a spouse born in Philly though and it angers me so much that he can’t have his original birth certificate! You’d think the city with a history of independence and freedom would not deliberately deny the right for someone to know their identiy but…….
Love it!!!!!!!! I am a search angel volunteer and this is going straight to my page!!!!!! by the way I will be there at the rally and so should all of us that are able to go and support this extremely important cause!!!
Here I am 63 years old born in Philly 1/25/1946 and I am still without a copy of my original birth certificate. I live in Missouri, cannot show up but I sure want to be informed. We deserve to have our original birth certificate.
Incredibly powerful video! This says it all!
Reunited mother from Ohio.
What a video, G R E A T job, I’ll be there in Philly, see you in July
Awesome! We ARE the people – we deserve our identities.
As a surrendering mother and a videographer, I wish to say that I will be sending this on and posting it everywhere. Great job!

WELL DONE!!!!!! BRILLIANT!
I recognize some faces in this video. Michelle E from the Adoption Show among others. I am sorry I missed the chance to get my face in there- but I am so happy the spot is finished. It has a definite impact for sure.
Powerful! The soundtrack is perfect – makes me want to raise my fist in the air. We will be there – adoptee me and my adoptee hubby. Can’t wait!
♥♥♥ Brilliant ♥♥♥
Dude, this video is awesome!!!
Look at all those beautiful people! Amazing video, strong message and very well put. Thanks for getting our message out there to the masses!
This video is awesome. It gave me goosebumps when I first saw it.
Great job! This needs to be brought to the attention of the general public — most citizens have no idea that adoptees are DENIED their basic right to know who they are. Send it to Philly newspapers, TV stations, etc. Let’s get the word out.
Brilliant! Thanks from my heart and see ya all in philly!
This rocks!!! Cannot wait to get to Philly!!
Oh My God! This is BRILLIANT!!!
I LOVE IT!!

Oh This is BRILLIANT!! The visual message is very strong. I CANNOT WAIT TO GO TO PHILLY!!!
Very well done! How could anyone not understand how unconscionable it is to seal birth certificates of adopted people? I never asked for anonymity from my own child – it was imposed upon me. My son and all adopted people have the right to their original birth certificate.
WHOOOOOHOOOOOO! go Philly!!!! knock em’ dead.
