Interview (03.10.2009) with Tom Fife regarding an essay that he wrote (dated 11.20.2008) entitled, “The First Time I Heard Of Barack.” Tom Fife, an American, was in Russia in 1992. He was in the process of starting a software development joint-venture company with some people from the Russian scientific community. The Soviet Russian Communists told Tom that the United States would, in the future, elect a black man as President and that his name is Barack. Tom was told that Barack is a communist. Tom was told that Barack was born of a white mother and African father. Tom was told that Barack was born in Hawaii, although the Russian ( a woman) was hesitant and noticeably unsure of herself when she mentioned the Hawaiian birth.
