It is now a certainty that the “birth certificate” claimed by the Barack Obama campaign as authentic is a photoshopped fake.
The image, purporting to come from the Hawaii Department of Health, has been the subject of intense skepticism in the blogosphere in the past two weeks. But now the senior spokesman of that Department has confirmed to Israel Insider what are the required features of a certified birth document — features that Obama’s purported “birth certificate” clearly lack.
Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: “At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically.” And, she added, “In the State of Hawaii all certified copies of certificates of live birth have the embossed seal and registrar signature on the back of the document.”

The ‘Certification of Live Birth’: The Obama campaign posted the COLB image online, reportedly to dispel rumors that his middle name was Mohammad. But several bloggers who analyzed the image said it appeared to have been modified from the official state version, raising questions at to its authenticity. Staff members at FactCheck claim to have examined the original “birth certificate,” and found it to be genuine. But that doesn’t include an explanation for the “Certification of Live Birth,” a different document, nor an explanation for whether they really were looking at the “birth certificate,” which the state of Hawaii maintains hasn’t been released.
Pakistan: Also, [Faith2Action journal columnist, Janet] Porter reports it is likely that Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981 on a passport other than a U.S. document, raising the question of the status of his citizenship at that point. Could one obtain another nation’s passport while being an American citizen?
The Indonesian question: At the time Obama moved to Indonesia as a child, only citizens of that country were allowed to attend school there. He was registered there as Barry Soetoro, his citizenship was listed as Indonesian and his religion as Islam. Porter reports there was no dual citizenship with Indonesia at the time.

Interview (03.10.2009) with Tom Fife regarding an essay that he wrote (dated 11.20.2008) entitled, “The First Time I Heard Of Barack.” Tom Fife, an American, was in Russia in 1992. He was in the process of starting a software development joint-venture company with some people from the Russian scientific community. The Soviet Russian Communists told Tom that the United States would, in the future, elect a black man as President and that his name is Barack. Tom was told that Barack is a communist.
