    What does putting the fathers nameon the birth certificate mean? Does the father have any les rights if its not on there or more rights if it is, or does it even really matter?

      actually now days it doesn’t mean anything when it comes to rights and a court, because they just do a blood test. But it is necessary for insurance/tax/other benefits and such including death to collect insurance $

    2. it depends on where you live. I put my partners name on our daughters and while we were doing that the registrar said as we werent married at that point it meant he didnt have automatic parental rights even tho his name was on it.
